The Skill Station Model

At Skills for Success, we utilize our unique Skill Station Model for reading and writing instruction. Every eight minutes, students rotate to one of our six teacher-directed reading/writing stations to learn and practice the skills needed to become fluent and competent readers and writers. As recommended by the International Dyslexia Association, our credentialed teachers have been trained in several Multisensory Structured Language Approaches utilizing strategies from Orton-Gillingham, Language!, Project Read and Lindamood-Bell programs.
